Maybe one day,
we will sink into the couch
dive into exchanged breaths
swim under each other’s skin
we will find hearts beating,
as it sends waves of cure
for the fractured souls
The couch will sail us to dreams
adventures we never imagined

I make U-turn when I see you. You are wearing a yellow t-shirt in the middle of a boring crowd. I can see that bright color catching my attention. I can see a bright person catching my attention, again. I’m not sure of what to say after years of just seeing each other through Instagram stories. Sometimes we share about what we eat, and what we like to eat. Somehow we learn that we have more similarities than differences. We are no longer the primary school kids who mutually dislike each other presence. I sense growth through the DMs — both me and you. I’m still smitten with our online interactions, I don’t want to make it real by saying “hi” without the help of emoji.
